Chris T. is brought to life by a passionate team of storytellers, filmmakers, and creative professionals dedicated to producing meaningful faith-based entertainment. Led by producer and writer Larry Silver and award-winning director John Grooters, the team combines years of experience in film, media, and inspirational storytelling to create a powerful story about redemption, faith, and transformation.
Larry Silver
Producer & Writer Larry Silver is the creator and producer behind Chris T.. Born in Philadelphia in 1963, he and his identical twin brother both experienced life-changing spiritual journeys at the age of 19. Larry previously produced the feature film “Silver Twins”, which is available on platforms including Amazon Prime Video, PureFlix, YouTube, and Tubi TV. In addition to filmmaking, Larry has worked for decades in the construction industry as a consultant and mergers and acquisitions advisor. His passion for faith-based storytelling drives his commitment to producing films that inspire audiences and communicate meaningful spiritual messages.
John Grooters
Director John Grooters is an award-winning filmmaker whose mission is to reveal the beauty of Christ through excellent media and storytelling. With more than 20 years of experience in film, documentaries, television, and digital media, he has created impactful stories that reach audiences around the world. His theatrical films—including Tortured for Christ, The Frontier Boys, and Sabina: Tortured for Christ – The Nazi Years—have received numerous Best Picture and Audience Choice awards and have been distributed globally in multiple languages. John brings his experience and creative vision to help bring the powerful story of Chris T. to life.
Don Horner
Marketing & Media Donald Horner has been involved in Christian film and media since 2008. Over the years, he has worked in a variety of roles including acting, marketing, and audio production. He has contributed to several well-known Christian films such as Fireproof, Grace Card, War Room, and I Can Only Imagine. In addition to his work in film, Don has served as a radio host and media professional, helping promote and support faith-based storytelling projects that inspire audiences worldwide.
William L. Whitacre
Entertainment Attorney William L. Whitacre is an entertainment attorney specializing in film and music. He provides services as the principal entertainment legal counsel on business structure, equity structure, development and production financial offerings, production legal services, distribution delivery compliance, and related matters in film and music. Bill was an active member of the Directors Guild of America for eleven years as a feature film Unit Production Manager. His screen credits for produced and distributed films with Oscar winning actors also include being a Supervising Producer and Executive Producer.
Alexi Ouzas
Film Consultant Alexi Ouzas is an Australian film producer and the Director of Exile Entertainment, a Melbourne-based production and distribution company dedicated to bold, independent cinema. Since its founding in 2015, Exile has produced and executive produced twelve feature films and distributed more than twenty titles across Australia, New Zealand, and international markets. Ouzas’ films have premiered at major festivals including Venice and SXSW Sydney, with notable works such as West of Sunshine (Venice Film Festival, 2017), Voices in Deep (SXSW Sydney, 2023) and Time Addicts (Netflix, 2024). His productions are defined by distinctive storytelling, creative risk, and cross-cultural collaboration. With a background spanning film distribution and curatorial practice, Ouzas’ work bridges the worlds of cinema and contemporary art. His current focus lies in developing international projects that push creative boundaries while remaining deeply connected to audience experience—stories that move, provoke, and entertain.
